    West Ham say hello :)

from 8th place having beaten Fulham and Sheffield United?

I have to say I loved Leeds giving the young mascot his day on Zoom by walking him out on an iPad and projecting it to the big screen.

A nice touch in these crazy times.

That wasn't the point raised. The point raised was fixture difficulty. West Ham played:

    Newcastle(H)
    Arsenal(A)
    Wolves (H)
    Leicester(A)
    Spurs (A)
    City(H)
    Liverpool(A)

It was by far the toughest run of fixtures. Only now they get easier. Their first 7 games only 1 side that won't challenge for Europe in Newcastle

    Fixtures then got easier

the only reason West Ham's fixtures were worse than ours was because we can't play Liverpool away

I always think Liverpool have two tougher games than the rest of the so called "top six" every year,
All the rest play there Derby's within the top six, Example City & United then you have Spurs , Arsenal & Chelsea having there derbies amongst themselves

Liverpool have to play all them games which are massive due to " being top 6" clashes but then have Everton on top of that, who always give that little bit more to beat Liverpool ( even if they don't manage it often )

Spurs have played a game on average every 3.2 days since the 29th of September, with regular Thursday games in various countries around Europe followed by early games on Sunday morning. That's just ****ing ridiculous. Similar for other teams in European competitions.

It's laughable that the FA don't do more to ease the congestion, and it's entirely down to the TV stations pushing for "Super Sundays" and the likes.

What's the solution this season though? Remember there are three Europa teams playing Thursday-Thursday-Thursday for 3 weeks in a row (twice).

They can't all get say a Monday slot (which wouldn't even be possible if that league game was against a CL side). Do they all get a Sunday afternoon slot then. Is 12pm on Sunday really that intrinsically different to 14:15 on a Sunday? And no matter the scheduling you'd obviously still be on 1 game per 3.2 days.

Like it's not ideal and all the 7 teams in Europe have had at least one 'tough' bit of scheduling.

So it's tougher for Liverpool because they have to play two games against a team they always beat? Ok so

86 is the number to beat for Liverpool. So next season it would have to be I think

Consistently a very tough away fixture - only beaten them twice in the last eleven years at theirs.

Though I don’t particularly agree with the point about this making it particularly tougher for Liverpool... the London clubs have plenty of extra smaller rivalries, with West Ham, Fulham, Palace etc eager to get one over on the bigger London clubs. And then some clubs have big non-Derby rivalries, like Leeds v ManU will be this year.

Klopp very annoyed at the end of the post match yesterday, said the broadcasters have to sit down and change the game times.
He said he'd consider sending the points to brighton having to play 12.30 on Saturday after a game wednesday, he'd lose a game but atleast he won't lose a player.
To be fair he wasn't just talking about Liverpool he was concerned about all player welfare but he will be accused he will be just talking about Liverpool.
He said he can't make subs early as he expects players to go down to muscle injuries.
We won't have any players left by the end of the season if this schedule continues.

A maximum of 4,000 fans will be allowed at outdoor events in the lowest-risk areas when the four-week lockdown in England ends on 2 December.

Up to 2,000 people will be allowed in tier two areas but none in tier three.

Don't expect many fans at any Premier games soon! Most teams are in Tier 1 or 2 area's.

Just weeks after his attack on Bielsa, saying everyone was "up his axxe", Agbonlahor is now "lost for words" over his nomination as FIFA coach of the year, he's "not having it".

    https://talksport.com/football/794204/agbonlahor-leeds-bielsa-coach-of-the-year-award/

Of course no manager is above question, and maybe his point that Tuchel deserved it for winning the French League and losing the CL Final is valid...but he clearly has a bee in his bonnet now and it's entertaining.

You got some context to that tweet?

The allowed fan numbers at games after the tiers were announced.

    https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/26/football-fans-can-return-in-liverpool-and-london-but-not-in-manchester-and-other-areas-tiers
After the government announced new tiering measures for England on Thursday, 10 top-flight clubs were placed in the toughest category, tier 3.

In the Premier League no fans will be allowed at Aston Villa, Burnley, Leeds, Leicester, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle, Sheffield United, West Bromwich or Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The other 10 clubs in the top division can allow up to 2,000 supporters into stadiums because they fall into tier 2 restrictions: Arsenal, Brighton, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Southampton, Tottenham and West Ham.

Not a single club in England’s four top divisions falls into the lowest category of tier 1 restrictions, where 4,000 fans could be permitted. The tiers will be reviewed in mid-December.

I'm glad someone asked because I didn't want to look like the dope that didn't have a notion :pac:

I had thought maybe fans per game. Have clubs decided how they are picking these 2000 fans?

whoever gets the most "thanks" on boards can go

Fairest way probably be a ballot for ST holders based locally, 2000 each time, if youre going to one, your not in the ballot again until all ST holders have been etc

Fixtures are out... Will Premier Sport be broadcasting all the Amazon games this year? Although they failed hard with the multi-choice last Stephens day, hopefully they fixed that. https://www.premierleague.com/news/1905124
