Chilwell, grealish and ziyech so far today. Had Lamptey on my bench. he's first sub. I make it 11 from 3. Kane up next.

Brought Grealish in this week. Villa are turning into an annoying team. Hammer Liverpool and Arsenal then lose to teams they really should be beating.

    They're Manchester Utd lite.

Brilliant if you allow them space on the break. Less convincing when the onus is on them.

Villa players will continue to haul this season, and it'll often be in less likely games.

Was on 11 from 2 and now up to 13 from 5!

How would you fit the Arsenal, Southampton and Leeds game into that analysis though? We were on the front foot for most of the 90 and were extremely effective, and were on the back foot for most of the 90 against Leeds and Southampton and were not effective.

To be honest, the only game where we've been a particularly strong counter attacking team was the Liverpool one. The Sheff United and Fulham games were all Villa and Leicester was a bit of a back and forth with both sides having spells.

I lean to your analysis as a Villa fan.

That has just been my impression of the team, and maybe I'm influenced as a Liverpool fan.

Fair enough. Wasn’t intentionally trying to be snarky by the way, if it came across that way. It does looks that way as I read it back.

De Bruyne shouting “Look where the f**king line is!” right next to the sideline microphones. :D

But it is embarrassing that officials can't get the basics right even when prompted.

Would 30 minutes of Sterling here be better than a Brewster start?

I think so. I was kind of hoping you'd end up with Dallas coming off the bench!

I actually don’t think Dallas is a terrible option this week though
