    Hi,

We have applied for a mortgage with BOI but we are wondering if there is a delay with the house and it won’t be finished before loan offer expires what happens?

    1. What is the maximum time you can get an extension for? When would you need to request this extension?

    2. If a new application is needed can you buy kitchen, appliances, flooring etc during the house build or will this go against you financially when you reapply after 6 months?

    3. Can you start new application before your offer expires if you know it is going to lapse?

Is this a straight forward process or what is the best way to obtain a mortgage for a new build.

Thank you for your help ðŸ™
