Right decision to stop him cynical and rightly carded, but they probably should have had more defenders back.

Just about got over the line. Close game throughout.

If Jonny Cooper or Jonny Coen did that that I'd think you mightn't agree.

    Right decision, game winning tackle

Let’s hope Karma plays a part in this championship again as it has for Mayo for so long.

Fair play to him. Thought it was a penalty for a split second. Then was thinking of a Michael Meehan situation, was relieved to see Walsh tap it over.

Jesus the faux outrage is embarrassing

Don't worry too much about it. None of these teams are within touching distance of Dublin.

And hopefully karma comes around in the last minute of the all ireland final. Big performance from the ref for ye today.

Don't think Galway can have much complaints. Need to look at themselves and their own performance.

Let's not forget the 2 dirty hits from Conroy and mulkerrin in the 1st half.

I know they have. I've seen it. And I've seen the reaction in this forum when Cooper has done it also. And I've yet to see Mayo fans say he was right to do it.
Just surprised now that suddenly it's okay.

Yeah that one on Aidan from Conroy was nasty.

Pity we dont have citing like in rugby those two would be looking at a few games bans. Delighted to have beaten them after that

Had to be done, given Conroys knee to O’Sheas head and the dig on Conroy Galwya can’t be too upset

Very good second half from Eoghan McLaughlin and Mattie Ruane. Poor game from Kevin McL, Diarmuid, Cillian, ROD so to come out with a win is great.

There’ll be a lot of talk about how good Cork or Tipp are but realistically we should be beating whatever comes out of Munster

Wouldn’t agree with that, thought he gave a lot of decisions to Galway

Surprised Mattie Ruane got MOTM, he was stink in the first half. I presume they didn’t give it to McLaughlin because of that foul

While your at it Ruane clothes lining Cillian McDaid and surprise surprise no card and Diarmuid o Connor with his common punch into the face

    What are you on about?

That turnover from Ruane that resulted in Cillian knocking over a handy free was absolutely vital. We were on the ropes a little before that but that play seemed to settle us. Can't begrudge him MOM.

Thought Aidan, Diarmuid and Eoin McLaughlin were excellent too. We showed a lot of steel to grind that out.
