No fears today, will get past Galway handy enough.

Wish I had your confidence. Galway will be well up for this and I can see it going to the wire
Surprised as well that Boyle isnt even named in the subs.

As a neutral and after reading Jim I'm really looking forward to this clash today.

So comers fit in some capacity.

Wont be anything like the league I'd say, going to be a huge test.

Have to wonder if our lack of physical presence (to a degree) in midfield will catch up with us eventually.
    Hopefully not today.

But it could be a weak link. Loftus just not a natural midfielder and could be targeted on kickouts.

    Brianless stuff from Ruane there.

Great to see quick ball into the FF line, Galway very poor back there

3 very bad wides, Galway forwards not with it at the moment

Presumably Galway game plan is to limit the damage in the first half and hope to cut loose in the second. How far do we think Mayo need to be ahead at HT to be confident of victory?

We are in danger of leaving this behind us

Should be further ahead given how much we've dominated. Midfield still a huge concern, winning nothing there.

Cillian does not have the strength for the 45s+ anymore

Galway keeper will probably take the rest of the half to recover after that foray:P

Ruane poor so far. Not much in it for all the possession. Those wides could be costly.

Definitely lost some distance but that was just a poor strike. Should have no bother from there with the breeze behind.

Definitely sponsored by Supermacs, he must never pass Ballindine without stopping in

Really don't know why we've Aidan and Cillian playing so far out the pitch against these

That midfield is a huge problem, as it has been all year tbh. We are winning nothing there. Shooting is poor too.

Don't think Dublin will be worrying about either of these.

A strong wind and were filling midfield

Smart by Ruane there with the fist.

That was a perfect legal hit. Ref saying it was high.

Needs to extend this lead, four points not enough going in IMO

    Very dirty on O'Shea.

Conroy will be getting it before it's over.

We should be well ahead. No one to blame but ourselves if this one slips away.
