    Ferfuxake.

If there is one modern word I have come to truly hate it is ''intersectionality''. It is such a fcuking made up piece of shyte. Not once do these fluffy-headed intersectionalists actually break a real sweat over women on life sentences in prison in Iran for not wearing scarves, or the young girls being sent abroad from Ireland to have their clitorises cut off, or child marriage or the degradation of ''sex workers'' or the presence of obvious rape on Porn Hub...I could honestly go mad with this sort of shyte.

Used to work with a campaigner for the Social Democrats, very SJWish. I asked why she had in the past supported someone’s right to stay in the country who had admitted she performed FGM in her daughters, nieces and others.

“Intersectionality of rights”. I’m still none the wiser,

It's one of those things that just doesn't need to be said. Anyone who has to declare it should be watched tbh.

On topic it seems JK isn't the subject of this thread anymore.

The poster has said she doesn’t identify as cis. Therefore, she is not cis.

Just like you or I don’t decide who is trans. It is the individual person who identifies as Trans. Therefore only people who identify as Cis should be called cis.

    https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/prison-officers-demand-guidelines-on-transgender-inmates-39637102.html
A well-placed prison source said: "There was mass confusion when this issue arose. Basically no one was permitted to search this prisoner because we have no clear guidelines or policies on how to deal with transgender inmates.

"No one searched this inmate in the end and a wand metal detector was used to scan the inmate.

"No weapons were found on the prisoner. But this is not an ideal search method by any means. A physical search is far more effective.
We are going to need a policy in writing on how to deal with this specific type of prisoner.

"Because in line with society, we will see more transgender inmates coming through the system."
One criminal defence lawyer says that the Gender Recognition Act 2015 has placed the State in an impossible position.

Does the Act of 2015 regard the rights of the prisoner referred to in the article as more important than the safety of prison staff?

Why is our government so deferential to the trans lobby? Why are the wishes of a very small number of people regarded as more important than the rights of the majority?

It all pales into insignificance when measured against trans rights, specifically mens rights to be called women. There is no oppression greater than a man, any man, a spectrum of men, from those genuine few with gender dysphoria to those who like a dress and some lippy, to others who are good old narcissist/misogynists all the way down to the downright dangerous.
No 'cis' woman can ever know the true meaning of suffering.

Well, not a shock. Didn't Jenner win woman of the year a few years back, after getting a shedload of medals as a male olympian. There you go ladies, even men make better women than you do... 532894.gif

The thing is it was a certain section of the feminist politic which was once radical and became mainstream that has helped enabled much of this nonsense. When they started to graft in the intersectionality that Gruffalux noted, the oppressor/oppressed angle on things and redefining gender as not nature but culture, little did they realise it was akin to peeing into the wind. There's going to be splashback. It's a common issue within radical "progressive" politics. When everything goes and everything is "inclusive" and "intersectional" and nothing can be objectively judged in any identity politic it can come back to bite you. So in one respect I can see how some Transexuals are now "Eh...Wut?" thinking they had an ally in that movement. All movements are only allies to themselves, except when it suits.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Intersectionality is the ultimate pseudointellectual fence sitting bullshite G. It leaves the believer free to make no judgements whatsoever. No judgement means it relieves the individual of having to think and of course it relieves the individual of taking the responsibility of making a judgement. It is the refuge of the dithering, the indecisive and the cowardly.

    Phillip/Pippa Bunce
Was listed in Top 100 Business Women.
Is a Director at Credit Suisse Bank - goes in as Phillip for half the week and Pippa for the other half - I'm guessing he/she gets paid as Phillip all the time.
LGBT organisations love him/her, I doubt it has anything to do with huge sponsorship by Credit Suisse, pure coincidence.
Apparently Muslim women working there complained to HR about having to share the female toilets with Pippa. They were told they could use the disabled toilets instead. Progressive.

A trans woman just won Miss new Zealand

Angela Ponce already went there with winning Miss Spain in 2018.
They are both pretty-looking transwomen, though dare I say neither are exceptionally pretty. I imagine there were natal women in both competitions who were much more exceptionally good looking.

To be honest I don't really worry too much as a woman about transwomen winning beauty contests. It is not an area where women are in any danger or losing real representation or privacy or protection. Makeup, surgery and hormones can do a lot to change a body, and it has to be said some men are absolutely gorgeous in the first place, so it would not take much for them to be good looking ladies.
Earlier I deleted a post where I was challenging someone who said transwomen never pass as women. They often do pass. There are gorgeous transwomen and hunky transmen, if viewed from an aesthetic point of view. Some transwomen who go into the whole porn end of things look really Jessica Rabbit-esque. They have made an art out of looking erotically fantastic.

They are still transwomen. Nothing wrong with that. But facts are facts.

They can have beauty contests but powerlifting and rugby, no can't have that.

There is no natural advantage for a trans woman in a beauty contest. There are in sport so it's unfair.

Well, not a shock really. The whole intersectionality/identity politics stuff is almost entirely the remit of White, Western middle class people. So it tends to concern itself with issues, real or imagined, that only tend to affect their own demographic. Other demographics are either useful token exotics when required, or enemies.
Sh1t, you've hit me right in the soul there Wibbs. There is a responsibility there that a lot of people, including myself, pretend not to see. I mean in general.
Well making judgements is a risky business tWW and a responsibility and you can always be wrong and often are and risk being judged in return. Plus few enough of us actually really examine the things we hold to be truths and judge them for ourselves. So it's easier to either defer to an authority which many if not most do and leave them with the responsibility, or since old certainties are not so certain and old authorities are mistrusted go the route of simply not making any judgements at all.

Things like Intersectionality and Cultural equivalence lend a framework to avoid making such decisions and have the handy extra of having an authority of fellow fence sitters to support you. For me it seems it's actually not so much about judging others and other's positions, more about avoiding being judged yourself.

Shock horror...a liberal pageant, probably aired in a liberal TV station selects a Trans as the winner. Hosted by Ru Paul, the opening song was sung by Concita Wurst.

Have to admit, I got some awful mental imagery there :pac:

I’m reminded of the kind of idiots who try to claim it’s “transphobia” when they’re on the receiving end of rejection on dating apps, as if their own reasons for using them are any different to anyone else’s who uses these apps -

From what I've seen suicide circus seems quite TERFy and im afraid ive never really noticed sir oxman as a poster so couldn't possibly comment.
