Not a feasible solution but one that would definitely work.

Simple really, close all the worlds borders for about 8/9 months, C19 would die out. No need for an RNA vaccine. Out of curiosity would many of you folks on this thread take the vaccine?

I would take a vaccine when its my turn

It'd be a lot easier for all of us if the anti-everything group would just get vaccinated and let us move on with our lives.

I'm not anti anything man, worlds first RNA vaccine. Got an email from Arsenal fc, (big fan) people will only be let into the stadium if they show proof they have been vaccinated.

Vaccine certificates are the way to go.

"Don't want to take the vaccine? We won't make you but you won't be able to do x y and z without a certificate. Tough ****."

Or an alternative way to look at it is:
"Arsenal to allow people back into their ground safely. "

The world isn't going to revolve around people who refuse to get vaccinated, and I think personally we spend too much time tolerating anti-scientific mumbo jumbo. "World's first RNA vaccine" - as if that is supposed to mean anything other than trying to instill fear in people who don't know what that means. This is a technology which is going to revolutionise parts of medicine, and as some have said is possibly the biggest breakthrough in 100 years - it's to be celebrated, not used to spread fear.

That's a great idea, although as an Arsenal fan I'm not sure being able to watch them would be a good thing

How would it definitely work, animals could be carrying it, supposedly surfaces on frozen goods could be carrying it.

Hasn't Ticketmaster already announced this? No entry to gigs unless you provide proof of vaccination? Thought I saw that somewhere...

Edit: I see that it's been denied, and seems to be a misinterpretation of what Ticketmaster did say

I've yet to see a cert, vaccine or doctors or otherwise, that cannot be forged. The immunisation passport kids get is so easy to duplicate.

Anyone know if the Russian vaccine was rolled out to the population there.

If it has, it doesn't seem to be doing anything cases are higher than since April.

Once its only a short term guideline to get public places open I don't see it being an issue. Wouldn't like to see it becoming the mandatory or a long term normality. Starts going down a slippery slope if you're only allowed in somewhere in you meet certain medical or other criteria.

Well there will always be a minority of scrotes who will forge documents and probably start up a black market in forging those certs but the vast majority wouldn't be arséd and do the far easier thing of just fcuking taking it.

      Absolute non runner

People who believe that don't understand supply and demand

They are not gonna turn down cash customers long term

They will u turn on this fast as will all the airlines and all other industries

If they don't u turn other companies will take those customers cash and they'll be out of business.

If Governments dont make it mandatory none of that nonsense will work and they won't.

The vulnerable will get vaccinated, hospitals will fill up with other diseases and everything will be back to normal

Do ye honestly think the premier league in the UK etc will not let fans paying £100 a ticket in without vaccination, haha

I doubt businesses will miss much from the anti-vax minority. Most people would happily take the vaccine in order to get back to attending what they love.

Businesses will do what they think will be attractive to the most customers.

The Hawaii airline route is interesting. Hawaii introduced mandatory testing on the route from the US, and the airlines assumed that demand would plummet as a consequence. In fact it has become one of the best performing routes in terms of keeping numbers vs pre-pandemic. Why? Because the airlines passengers feel it is safe to fly, whereas if they are on some other route they could be flying with someone who has Covid.

The airlines are now expanding testing as a consequence across all their other routes.

If you end up in a scenario with most of the population vaccinated, and the only remaining risk being catching the disease from someone who isn't vaccinated, the airline which offers vaccinated (or tested) only flights will probably do better than those who allow anyone to travel with them.

Once people realise that a vaccine is the only road out of this the anti vaxx muppets will fast become public enemy number one
