Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Welcome to the tournament thread folks.

    Going to be kicking off things from about 10am tomorrow morning with the Preliminary Round.

    How it will work is as follows:

    71 three way matches. Each match will have a 20 minute time limit.

    Vote for your preferred song of the three and most votes after the time limit expires will advance to the First Round.

    Any ties will be settled by myself for the Prelims, we may change that to best reason from Round 1 onwards.

    It is a little tight for 6. I knew a lot of the songs here so was grand for me on the first 2, but will be to the wire in other rounds.

    20 makes minutes is tight. I was watching out for this and still missed the first round. Personally I rather have the 2 rounds together but make it every 4 minutes. You should end up with more votes that way.

    Anyways rizzle gets my vote with those 3

    The problem with the normal format of first to X votes is that when the speed increases people sometimes skip over the songs and just vote for what they know

    I can revert to that for earlier rounds though if people prefer?
