That Fair City cop actor just mangled an American accent more than the yanks did to the Irish one.

DMO should insist that the apology is read out in the mayo accent

    just in. This is cringey.

Are RTE getting paid to promote this film? It's been on Tubbs, Claire Byrne and now this.

A mixture of laziness and arrogance by the production people. Each Radio 1 programme seems to exist in a silo, with no give and take on who's covering what. So we end up with the same shoite all day long. I'm sure D'Arcy will feel he needs to have a nibble on this later.

Considering each show has a Series Producer then there's an Editor of Radio 1 and then a Head of R1, surely they could do just a little better than this.

The accents in Brooklyn were good in fairness.
It wouldn't be my usual type of film but I did like it.
