Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking at a self install for a ground mounted 3kw system. Just wondering if many here have self installed any and what material you used. Appreciate any photos of same.
The ground mount kits I have been advised are quite expensive hence looking at a wooden posts with unistrut for it. Any progress or negatives for this would be great too

Are you adding to the SAAS set up?

Pinterest has some interesting set ups from wood.

Where are you getting the extra panels

Yes self installing a second string of panels to a second inverter. Doing this as a self install though in the spring. Sourcing most of the materials in either solartricity or midsummer renewables

If you are putting them straight into the soil maybe go with recycled plastic rather than wood?

(e.g. this type of thing )

Would need to be attaching unistrut to them and need to be square for lining up angles etc so don't think these would work unfortunately
