    Ad-libbed quite a few lines in that film too. When he said 'she talks in her sleep' during the scene where he's tied to the chair with Harrison Ford, Connery adlibbed that. The crew cracked up laughing, and Spielberg said 'well that's it, that line's in the film'.

    In Finding Forrester, he adlibbed another line, one of the first he says, when we meet his character. It was to imply the character was gay, that his 'closeted lifestyle' had a dual meaning.

    Connery was a smarter actor than people gave him credit for.

    TV actor Eddie Hassell was killed in a shooting in Texas early Sunday he was 30.
    TMZ reports that Hassell was shot during what appeared to be an attempted carjacking.

    I only recently listened to his delightful "Six Degrees of John Sessions" on BBC radio. A wonderful expressive voice.

    Such a varied career. He did voice work on Spitting Image, and appeared in major film productions such as The Bounty, Gangs of New York.
    RIP John.

    Sessions was everywhere for about 12 years but he high water mark for me will always be Stella Street as Mrs Huggett and Al Pacino.

    Yup, but didn't stop the rags...

    Remember, Louis Walsh made up rumours that Gately was engaged to a woman (one of Walsh's acts he was managing) long before he came out.

    I loved Geoffrey Palmer's cameo as Field Marshall Sir Douglas Haig in the final episode of Blackadder

    One of those actors who was in lots of thing and always nailed it. RIP.

    Just to clear up any confusion it was Judi Dench that was married to Michael Williams not Geoffrey Palmer.
