Men's and ladies club used zoom. Worked very well in both.
Management committee plan to email all details and have inline voting if necessary as previously done for sgm

I think clubs have dodged a bullet this year with no agm held as normal, especially the privately run clubs as they would have had a lot to answer about their handling of incoming members over lockdown 1.We have a great committee but they were left completely in the dark over all the new (part time members) taken in and subsequently jamming up the timesheets

Can you expand on what you mean by "have inline voting if necessary as previously done for sgm"

Thanks, guessed that but still wondering how voting on motions was or will be dealt with. There is some concern at our club that many will not be in a position or not able to access/use the tech to vote and that the opportunity will be used to lets say get certain contentious things through!!

Some clubs went ahead with online but they got a 3rd party to set it up and provided a support line to help members access the meeting.

We were planning to do it online but the committees can’t even meet. So I reckon a lot of clubs will just delay it.

You probably know already but the meeting limit is 45 mins unless you've a paid subscription to Zoom
