lost sky one and MTV - no phone line!

Hi,
I recently got in sky and validated the card in another house. I dont have a phone line in the house.Problem is that I have lost sky one and MTV and rang sky. They said must be plugged into phone line to check box. I am going to take box back to other house and plug into phone line and then ring from there, what I want to know is has anybody else had any difficulty with this, i.e getting a card validated in another house and taking the box and card to a house without a phone line. I cant see a problem but I have seen other threads refering to callbacks after installation and validation, whats the story?? Maybe somebody in the know could let me know how is there only one callback (the initial one at validation stage)

Assuming your friend/neighbour agrees and both digiboxes are similar, why not swap boxes.
It their box is more than one year old -you take it and ring Sky to pair your card with it.
Sky cannot insist on the phone line issue then
Whilst your friend can keep your original new box connected to the phone line.
