But even at that - "We didn't get to check them" isn't evidence of fraud though.

At the absolutely best the outcome there *might* be a recount being ordered , but that's not going to find 10's of thousands of incorrect votes.

Never said it was, just that it doesn't look good, I can't imagine a legitimate reason for it and it shouldn't be acceptable.

The worrying thing about all of this is that Trump and his ilk are making a direct attack on the foundations of US democratic culture.

All democracies rely on an acceptance that parties and supporters will accept the will of the people as expressed through the ballot boxes. When you start trying to attack the foundations of the system, democracy begins to die.

The constitution, rules, regulations, laws, and all of that are only as good as the culture they exist in and once that fails the outcomes are well known in many trouble spots around the world.

The people behind these attacks need to be called out for what they're doing. It's completely contrary to everything that the US would claim to stand for - as is the voter suppression, the gerrymandering, the failure to recognise the that stuffing the Supreme Court and assuming it will bend to political will is a gross violation of the concept of divisions of power.

All of that is anti-democratic and about as 'un-American' (not a phrase I'm fond of) as you could possibly get.

Joe could be 100 + million votes and 300 plus electorals and Trump would still be insisting it’s a fraud....

What about the dead Republicans, have they not voted, or can you even vote from hell?! Amiright?!

(PS: Is there a worse affectation than 'Im hearing stories...'?)

Classic Trump approach to these things to spread disinformation:

    "many people are saying....."
"I heard people are saying...." and so on

Well all these types of stats are misleading due to population growth and turnout. They're presented as historic support but it should simply be measured by percentage votes (popular vote) if you're going to talk about it at all.

Oh I agree, but the biden supporters are going on about Biden's popular vote figures, while ignoring the fact that turnout is higher than normal...it's that sort of selective facts carry on that has led to trump getting elected first time around...

I've no horse in the race, Still think Sanders was the best man for the job

Biden Takes Narrow 5k-Vote Lead In PA As USPS Finds More Ballots In Philly

ah come on this is beyond a joke.

Thats nothing mate, Hillary Clinton was seen delivering 50,000 ballots to Philly using Jeffery Epsteins private jet. She brought pizza from Washington too icon14.png

Never said it was, just that it doesn't look good, I can't imagine a legitimate reason for it and it shouldn't be acceptable.

The reports on the ground from independent ballot watchers and others is that they were allowed to view , but that the GOP guys were pushing and shoving and trying to get right up in the counters faces etc.

I really don't think that one has legs.

The court case they won merely clarified how close they were allowed get , it didn't give them anything that they didn't have already

That's a nasty statement, no need for it. Stoking the tensions. We want Trump to leave and be forgotten about, don't be giving his supporters ammunition.

There are very serious penalties in the US for voter fraud or impersonation along with the fact they check the death register.

You'd want to be stupid to go to prison for one extra vote.

Some guy attempted it a couple of weeks ago, to request a mail in ballot for a dead relative and was caught. I'd say they check the death register before posting out the ballot.

They'll be reigned by the Republican party. The GOP doesn't want this, could ruin them for a decade.

    What a bunch of losers

I think the right response to comments like that isn't "loser" but genuine deep concern for these people. These people aren't evil geniuses out to hold power or manipulate the system. They're showing a lot of similar delusions to people brainwashed into cults. That is pretty terrifying tbh.

Is there a more pathetic specimen of humanity than Lindsey Graham? Remarkable that he's survived this long after being born without a spine

There's every need for it when the current President is actively trying to block the democratic process.
No there's no need for it. Let the democratic process win out like it's going to do.
Ignore Trump, he's a beaten docket now.
