interesting. so dems have a chance at a senate majority? i thought it was a write off

if things go as is and the Dems win the 2 Georgia seats it would be a tie and the VP has the casting vote

Georgia is a huge state in many ways, it also holds the key to senate majority as the two senate seats will go into a run off and Dems win them both and Biden wins white house then Kamala Harris holds the casting vote
It it goes to January, they can be told that nothing gets done if they vote Republican.

This election is some contrast to Obama's first term. Then the primary theme and motivation for Democratic votes was hope, and change.

Now the primary motivation for both sides is fear and hatred. Fuelled mainly by Trumps' rhetoric. The damage that has been done to the American psyche might never be unravelled.

Biden campaign debunking very clearly now some of the stunts that the Trump campaign are doing.

The GOP are really clutching at straws.

    The election map is class.
Zoom into nearly ever state and republicans own the rural areas, while Democrats only win in urban areas. Of courses, population wise that's enough.

Zoom into Michigan, there's maybe 40 constituencies. Reps have won ~36 rural ones, and Dems won 4.

But those 4 are urban areas; Detroit, Grand Rapids, Anne Arbour and Kalamazoo

True, and also social media's role in this. It's been a slow descent into the gutter. I fear Ireland will follow in the not too distant future..as will all of Europe. Kier Starmer in the U.K. gives me some hope, a more moderate left candidate to pull sides together.
Biden was seen as a good centre candidate, and has quite a bit in common with the likes of John McCain, and previous moderate Republican candidates. If only he was a bit younger, perhaps he should have ran in 2016 instead of Hillary...

Recounts, conspiracies, lawsuits, it could be argued over for weeks, but yes for most people it will be a sign Trump's 18 year presidency is finally over.

The astonishing thing is that Trump is likely to exceed Obama's popular vote of 2008. He will never shut up about that.

The fact he's specifically noting he's only challenging states that Biden recently won shows it's not about proof, it's just challenging the results because he doesn't like the results.

Yeah, but he's gonna be kicked to the kerb by the Republicans and Biden will be President.

He can say all he wants, but if a Trump talks sh*te in the forest and nobody is listening, does it make a sound?
