It's been quite a strategy from Trump. Consistently try to undermine confidence in postal voting and tell his voters not to use it, while Democrats will use it in mass due to not being covid deniers by and large, and due to reduction in number of polling places in democratic areas.

This means on election night he knows he'll get an early lead and can cry foul when the postal votes start getting counted to overturn his early leads.

Meanwhile simultaneously he's been doing everything he can to genuinely undermine the postal vote by underfunding the post office and making it harder for them to actually deliver votes, which he knows will be mostly Democrat, on time. But knowing that if the Dems actually call this out he can say they're hypocrites or say that they admit postal votes are not legitimate.

I don't know what goes on in Trump's head but he certainly inflames racial tensions rather than the reverse and, at the very least, he wholeheartedly enjoys the support of 'interesting' voters and endorsements from outright racists.

Having said that Trump is absolutely correct when he asks 'what have you been doing for the last 45 years, Joe?' when they discuss the US's problems.

Yea they will be small numbers but I expect the majority to be Biden after what Trump said about the military members who died in action and I think Americans living abroad will get a very different view on Trump and America.

Its his strategy for a lot of things.. destabilise/discredit the media (but of course not when they support him), same with "Big Tech" - no apparently they are censoring..

Spread blame and attack the other guy/system/thing.. anything at all to detract from his own lack of substance.

Classic narcissism... now tho we get to be entertained by the break down - lets hope the lasting damage is contained as much as possible.
