Burke never shut up there. Nobody got a full sentence out with his ranting.

It was Coopers job to moderate but he's on Burke's side so allowed him disrupt at will.

Yeah seems a few agree here.

I'll pass on the SF online propaganda machine.

    Thanks anyway.

He's starting to realise he's dealing with a cult :pac:

He let them both at it.

    The paranoia around here.

Sure we were told RTÉ buried this story a few days ago:)

I'm afraid this one isn't going to be the big explosive exposé that the conspiracy theorists want. A good statement this afternoon and then get back to the important work of fighting Coronavirus. Will be forgotten by next week.
No my friend. I'm not. Watch this one fizzle out. Nothing to see here folks. Just a load of manufactured outrage over a a load of nonsense.

The shinners will try and run with it, but no one gives a sh1te.
Will return to this very silly prediction on Friday.

My predictions have been a little better than certain other ones on here this week Paddy...

    See ya Friday... :)

The lads spamming the thread with twitter links from unknown people.

    Pearse didn't shine tonight.

Young Peter Burke has a strong future in politics.

    His boss doesn't.

Burke was shameful during the M+B home debate and tonight was repeating the same spin.

Young Peter Burke has a strong future in politics.

He got in on the tenth count in the last election.

I seen Pearse ranting, shouting and pointing fingers.

Aggression isn't a way to win an argument.

Well not in a law abiding world....

Burkes sole purpose was to make as much noise as possible to disrupt any momentum.

Cooper allowed it and disrespected his viewers.

Theres nothing as annoying as listening to one guest talking
    over another.

In an argument I want to hear both sides and that can't happen when a shouting match is allowed .

    And?

It doesn't offer any corroboration of what you said

    Always the victims.

    Always the victims.

He nailed Pearse on the Norths finances.

You know it. But you will never admit it.

That Burke just ranted unmoderated over everything that was being said? I think that is what he and others are saying.
It was the technique called out during the election campaign too. Regina didn't get the 'attack dog' nickname for nothing.

He wasn't allowed answer that question, Burke just kept ranting. Managed to call both Cooper and Burke out for lying about what MLMD said to SIPO though.

Using a fellow SF fan to back up what you are saying doesn't add much weight.

I hope amongst all this non-story as FGers have being telling us that nobody missed Richard Bruton showing the nation on how to bake scones?
Taking to Twitter today, Fine Gael posted a video of the Dublin Bay North TD giving a tutorial on how to bake scones.
The tweet is captioned: “This week, we are focusing on how you can better cope with #Level5.
“First up is @RichardBrutonTD baking scones — this is the wholesome content you’ve been waiting for all year. #COVID19”

Social media users flocked in their droves to comment on the video, with many people questioning if the party is trying to divert attention from Tánaiste Leo Varadkar's Dáil address today.

Imagine thinking you could distract from Leaky Leo by posting a video about making scones. Fine Gael have been entirely lacking with the senior hurling we keep getting promised, instead all we get is Leo on the ropes and Tricky Dicky in his kitchen licking his sticky fingers.

Meanwhile the Paddy Power odds are in- Will Varadkar be Tanaiste on 1st December 2020?

    Yes 1/3
    No 2/1

I'm well aware of how proportional representation works John, but you crowing about a lad having a strong future in politics, doesn't make it so.

I doubt be will get back in going by any of his performances I've seen this year.

He is the lad answered something about the RA when asked on a Sunday morning on RTE about summer holidays, a complete and utter gobdaw.

Thats the problem right there. Pearse does not inhabit a law abiding world so will always relapse into the load mouth bully when under pressure.

You clearly don't know how it works if you think what count a person reaches quota matters though. How many candidates a party is running plays a big role in that.

Just looking at Peter Burkes constituency and I see there was 3 FG running.

He should have just went all out on his distraction attempt and slathered his well tuned abs with scone batter and slid up and down his kitchen on his back while he whistled Dixie.
