Hi, sorry probably a stupid question but I have a kickr core arriving in a couple of weeks and I need to order a cassette for it.

The one on my bike is a Shimano CS-HG400, 11x34.
Can I just order the exact same or does anyone know how to check if it will be compatible?

    Thanks

should be 10 & 11 speed shimano/sram compatible out of the box - the gear ratio is more for your dearileur. Get a cassette that is the same as the one on your bike and you should be good to go

No experience of trainers but I imagine installing / removing a cassette would be the same process as a cassette on a wheel meaning the OP would need the same tools for the job? ie lockring tool, chainwhip and a wrench?

Also the OP's cassette is 9-speed as far as I can tell so maybe spacer/s needed too?

specs say it is 9 speed compatible, so get the same cassette to ensure compatibility with the bike.

you will need a tool to fit it as enfilade said tho - your ;local bike shop may be able to help - and may be able to supply the cassette also.
