    In fairness to the government, its a big risk to put on shows like that when you dont know if they are gonna be cancelled with further lockdowns.

    It's really unfair of him to make little slights against the one hotel that got money. Particularly when he has an interest in one of the competing pantos. If RTE was a professional organisation then Duffy should have been stood down as he had a conflict of interest on this topic.

    The show must go on - can any of the artistic heads on the phone come up with alternative ways and means as others have had to do throughout this year?
    The 'star's mightn't get their expected wedge of cash with which to pay their proper taxes ahem, but at least all da kidz missing out will have the ultimate essential at Xmas.
