Shed cladding 101

Hi guys,

Currently putting up a 3 bay lean to shed, so on looking at cladding options at the minute, so I have 2 questions 😁😁

Looking for the best place for quality and price of cladding.

And is 0.5mm good enough or should I get 0.6mm

It's only going to be for turf and workshop kind of thing.

Any help appreciated

Then u talk about adding, is it corrugated iron or what?

Thickness depends, in part only, on purlin span

Purlin span is 20ft, and yes I'm looking for cladding recommendations for a shed

From the mention of purlin span, I think Mr Donkey Dick 1992 is talking about box profile steel sheeting like this:

I don't know anything about it but I'd imagine the "grant approved" stuff is better.

Skyclad in Milltownpass or Midland Cladding Kilbeggan. Bought a few small bits of Skyclad lately - they will make up anything you want in terms of flashings, gutters etc.

Got a quote from skyclad alright was 1300 for the whole lot, still waiting on Midland cladding to get back to me
