Doing a garage refit and floor consists of 100m screed on top of that old polystyrene white insulation. It was built 30 yrs ago. I don't want to have to break this out to replace it with kingspan and screed. I can afford to raise the floor upto 75 mm as the doors are allowing this so wondered what options are available in the form of rigid insulated flooring that I just put ontop of existing screed?

Hi I have done this in a room that previously had maple floor nailed to buttons. I removed the buttons and replaced with 30mm insulation boards and laid a floating hardwood floor on top.. No problem.
