Have heard of her. Never saw her on tv or heard her speak though.
Rte have a very small pool of dubious talent that they milk.

At work last night I saw a bit of some program with dermot something or other, does things with houses i gather. He was in Canada looking at super houses! Next program on is a repeat of late late show and who's the first guest...

A more boring mindless individual you gave to search for and the accent..I'm so bloody glad the only tv I watch is Netflix.
    Rte is crap.

Best put-down, Katherine Ryan said to her,
You must spend a lot of time face down on the coffee table.

Sorry I'm slow..what does it mean?

I think most people would agree she is a good looking woman and the discussion is nothing to do with begrudgery.

It's more like "Why are Irish media always pushing this person on us?"

Every other week it's something utterly braindead like "Vogue Williams shares her anguish at Covid-19 lockdown" or "Vogue Williams opens up about the stress of moving house".

    Like...OK? Honestly, who reads that?

Realistically somebody must because it's all about clicks.

Society is dumbing down in spectacular fashion, and very rapidly. That's why the type of articles/social media stuff she produces gets so many clicks. She is pandering to a large, growing audience. Can't really blame her for that. She's providing a product that many people want.

Lot of dudes around here don't like beautiful and successful women who try and make a brand around themselves.

There's lots of anger out there, Moron.

Ah the prophecy fulfilling itself I see.

It's a gimmick at this stage.

Imagine calling your kid Vogue. She never really had a chance.

Her sister is called Marie Claire

Irish independent all over her like a rash too

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,407 ✭✭✭batman_oh

Really? She must have been called Vogue from a very early age then because I am from where she is from and I remember knowing of her from our very early teens because of her name.

A friend of mine went out with her mate about 15 years ago - she was always Vogue, it's her name as far as I know. That's what everybody called her and knew her by up in K2 on the Summit!

Its gas. And the overuse of "dude".
I'm guessing Johnny is trying to be "right on" to get a Ladyfriend. Painful to read J's posts

E and J are very very very similar so to speak!

I took a look at her instagram today - over 800 thousand followers and streams of comments saying things like "where did you get your teeth done?" , "ur gorjus hun" , "amazing mother". That's the real tragedy here - the idiots who feed her with the attention she needs.

The wine-o-clock soccer mom set no doubt.

if she haded boobs, she would be manly. Size of the mouth on her

    Exactly.

We're not even talking about impressionable young wans. It's grown women.

It's mad, the amount of utterly thick humans knocking about.

Sheila Sheik (Katherine Lynch) was better, she described vw as "Ireland's favourite transvestite".

She was raised in the same place as me,has a very deep voice and is "manly" in physique. If you knew her da you wouldn't be surprised she's call vogue!

Vogue du jour, there will be another one in a few year's and a few years after that.

Yes this is the type of women wine o clockers want to see and hear. People like her are made by the media because there's a market there for it. Magazines, interviews, z list celeb shows ect. They all sell. There is plenty of space on the Rte, virgin ect news feed for X says this, x is having that, x says y is a bollocks ect.

    X=liberal media personality.

Wags talking about stuff was replaced by Real wives of z list county. Big brother = Gogglebox with more script.

The market is there and they need a constant supply of z Listers to fill the space.

She’s been around for at least 10 years at this stage. Not exactly a “flash in the pan”.

It's just a lack of content and imagination on RTE's part. Vogue, Whitmore, Huberman, that Garrihy wan. Pluck a pretty Irish face du jour and blow them up across channels, Late Late Show with Tubridy, throw them down to 2fm for a chat with Eoghan MacHairmott, RTE Guide cover, daily gossip column fodder. Then give them a radio show or "documentary series" coz they've been drinking their own kool-aid for long enough to believe that the general public gives a shyte.

Followed, once again, by angry men spitting hateful “attacks” online. Even including ones on her children, just because she is a “successful”, good looking, woman.

Perhaps if these online vermin took some time away from the computer screen, and games, and went out in the “real world” they might chill out a bit. Switch off the MMA too.

Spending that much time sat inside, with the curtains drawn, beating off to extreme hardcore “gonzo” pornography just can’t be good for the brain. A “break” from this could well lead to these online weirdos as seeing woman as equals and not some piece of “meat” to be both mocked or lusted after depending on the time of day.

It’s just sad that in this, supposedly, “enlightened” times we still have a “group”, albeit a minority, of small, angry, men who think, and act, like this. Thankfully, they are “contained”, for the most part, to small online “communities”.
