I have to go pick up the kids from my parents now and get the dinner and homework all done. I'll be mostly absent for the next couple of hours

Angus village is good. I thought his posting was extremely aggressive and it was giving me wolfy vibes. Would be good for me if he was a confirmed villager

    That's why i peeked him.

    He is village. Confirmed.

We don't really have any reason to believe you Patrick.

I'm assuming the angel ain't got peeks galore to give out.

Probably only one wish a day.

    So Clodagh wished first.

Clodagh did you get any word at all?

    you're contradicting yourself.

If he's only got one wish a day then it wouldn't matter if he had peeks galore.

and if he did only have one wish a day, why would he give you a self protect, when others are trying to help the village?

You were already on my dodgy pile, now you're a permanent fixture.

Protecting me is helping the village. Do I need to spell out why?

The angel could back me up, but of course they would just out themselves then.

If someone else has a peek, they could back me up.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,976 ✭✭✭Patrick WW

protecting every villager is helping the village....

    finding wolves is more helpful

so an angel in game can grant wishes? thats an exciting mechanic.

anyway, you peeked 2 who are good (as far as we believe your peeks that is)

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Emily WW

...And yet you didn't find any wolves Patrick, just 'confirmed' villagers, who could just as likely be your wolf teammates.

Peeking 'villagers' is useless if nothing backs it up.

Have you forgotten about the shapeshifter?

i thought a specific angel wishes for stuff on thread and the GM decides

well if i had have been able to pick out the wolves for some reason to peek, then it would be a very different game :pac:

I took a punt on my gut. My gut was wrong. either way, I know that those two are top of my village pile, and whatever they say I can take as honest.

If others choose not to believe me then fine. I'm only trying to help the village.

I can confirm neither are the shifter too. They are both village.

just lets be careful - one of the peeks maybe false?

something to keep in mind before 100% clearing players.

'but be careful what you wish for - they may not be exactly as you had envisaged'

    How could you confirm that?

How can you confirm this stuff?

You could have used one peek, given the results.

Then you could have said you had another peek. Then asked who wanted to be peeked...then at least we'd have some clues from the volunteers and non-volunteers.

You're right. I forgot about that last bit.

there was a way for me to distinguish if one of my peeks was a shifter. Neither were.

look i've said already, i don't know which of you are baddies or goodies. why would i listen to any of you, when i know if i choose myself i'm acting in the best interest of the village.

Just what i said when nigel mentioned his shot.

You're going to have to explain why you chose those two Patrick

take the info i've provided. believe it or not, that's up to you. but i know i've done my part.

I would like to direct you to Exhibit A: Desmond (Evil) who thought he was a wolf. He even poisoned someone as he still thought he was a wolf. Then upon realising he wasn't a wolf healed them. Might need to change your views on what anyone on the village team would know about the phrase evil.

Your behaviour aligns closer to Senan's than Des's though

Angus had been popping in and out with long streams of posts which seemed to very pushy and almost trying to lead the whole village, which i didn't like and got wolfy feelings from.

Jake has posted a lot, but i had literally no feelings about him whatsoever, so that scared me.

It was a toss up between those two, emily and clodagh.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Emily WW

Since Nigel has a shot perhaps you should have peeked him, then asked him who he wanted to shoot?

Depending on the results you could have figured out who his teammates are and are not.

Your peeks are now only a personal thing, only useful to you.

We'll never know if you're telling the truth.
    Patrick WW wrote: »
good idea! Completely forgot about this.

I wish for correct alignment peeks too

As you put the word 'too' in, the angel should have given alignment peeks to Clodagh beforehand for it to be technically accurate. But yeah...I won't be pedantic.:pac:

not shifty. there were specific outcomes of my peeks, if a particular outcome happened, i would know one of the two was a shifter. that outcome didn't happen

Hmm, I don't know how that would happen but seems an interesting claim to make if you are a wolf and it isn't true. You could have played it safe and said you could be wrong about it. So I'm leaning towards this shapeshifter thing being true, unless you are a shapeshifter yourself.

I've a number of other worries about this whole thing. You are a wolf/shapeshifter and got granted two peeks by an angel. Clearing two people makes you look good.

Otherwise could the wish granting angel be the wolf angel - seems unlikely given that the wolf angel already gets an extra kill. The wolf granting angel could've given you two wrong bad peeks.

On the whole I'm leaning towards you being village though.

you can come up with all the intricate plans you want. I'd do it the same way every time.

I was number one on your list yesterday Patrick. Why not peek me?
Why not ask the ones you suspected if they wanted to be peeked?
