Centerparcs - Is iot true that you can only use the pool twice if you stay for 3 days

My brother is going to Centerparcs Longford in December.
I was going to go in January.
My brother now tells me that he got an email from them telling him that he can only use the pool twice during his 3 day stay.

I went to centerparcs last year and it was very expensive but its saving grace was we went to the pool probably 3 times per day.

I really would not want to go if we could only use the pool on a limited basis.

So just checking if anyone has heard this too, who is due to go to centerparcs.

We were there a few months back, and yes, you get to use it twice per three day stay, for 2 hours each time.

It didn’t bother us too much, there’s plenty other things to do but I understand everyone has their own preferences

Yes, it's on the email they sent me. Max of 2 sessions of 2 hours each.
Doesn't sound great. I probably will return when the restrictions are gone because its was a fantastic break but watching the clock and trying to keep a distance at the pool wouldn't be fun. Although maybe queues for slides would be shorter and pool quieter might be a bonus.

I think i'll just cancel.
That pool is the only thing that makes it worth it to us tbh.
Also its not a holiday for us if we have to book in advance what we want to do.

Was there a few weeks ago and two hours was plenty as there were little or no queues.

In December your brother will get the use of the Winter Wonderland and Santa Village, which is a fantastic set up at Centerparcs for young kids. I saw it last year and it should be really well set up for social distancing too.

I think it finishes early January though so you may not be so lucky.

It is in the information they have about their restrictions on their website when you book - click into the link on their page and it tells you.They send you an email to book your times I think.

This is normal for center parks even without restrictions, some activities you have to book months in advance. The activities that are left over for last minute use are normally like pottery painting or birdbox making. The good ones get snapped up quite quickly.

We did new years eve last year, it came down a day or two after new years eve. It comes down when the New year stay is complete.

From what I’ve read the queues are shorter although one of the slides isn’t running, the waves aren’t on though the pool is open and the lazy river thing has its speed right down.
I’d agree that the two hours isn’t enough but if you could use it every day it wouldn’t be so bad, the early arrival thing is gone too and you can’t hang around all day on check out like you could.
We’re booked for December but will almost certainly reschedule for next year some time

It’s expensive and with those restrictions I don’t see the value, it’s a great place under normal circumstances. We really enjoyed it in January but the pool is the big show, for 3 nights we’d plan to be in the pool probably 4 times for about 3 hours.
