Heat Pump / BER Assessment

    Hi guys,

    What is typical price for a heat pump and BER assessment?

    I'm just sense checking the price I've received which is higher than I expected.

    There is no typical.

    Depends on...
    Size of house
    Type of heat pump (Geo or A2W)
    Make/Model/rating of heat pump
    Underfloor or rads or mix


    BER assessment is standard enough price.. "a few hundred".

    The heat pump assessment for the grant is what I meant.

    For a Technical Assessment you are looking at €300 and you will get €200 back from SEAI if you go for the grant. If there is no BER already done then one will have to be completed prior to the technical assessment and if going for the grant another one after the works are completed.
