    Surprised by no red there.

Fully deserved point though, what a performance

That’s why people get so pissed off with VAR...

That was 10000% a red card.. but VAR have multiple looks and it stays as yellow. A terrible challenge, no attempt to play the ball, player could have been badly injured. As serious foul play as you can get.

    Deffo a red tbh

Surely Everton cant bottle it from here?

Shocking scenes if we don't win from here. Blow it up ref. I think PL are just waiting for the Derby before confirming Everton as PL winners.

I think if Everton Draw we might just have the parade the following week.

That Leeds - Man City game was a brilliant watch for the neutral. Love those type of games.

Leeds will always be good value for entertainment anyway, hopefully more often than not on the losing end of a goal fest

Great result for Leeds. City picking up where they left off last season. Great to see.

If Liverpool win tomorrow, that Derby match with fans would be the most excited I would be for a Derby game in 10+ years aside for the cup semi final.

Unfortunately fans won't be in there but it would have been incredible scenes. There would be so much hype pre game. Imagine the Goodison crowd early morning, plenty of pints in them and up for a first derby win in years and to beat Liverpool to stay top of the league. Even as a Liverpool fan, I would love the week leading up to it with banter etc from Everton.

And then love even more when Liverpool win ;) :pac:

Need to stick the knife in tomorrow. Make sure that again we take advantage. We need to get into a position where losing 4-0 to City like we did last season would not matter. A decent gap takes away all their influence on us.
We play they once away in the league, not 38 times.

Yeh honestly it's such good hype for the Derby. Would be unbelievable craic. The last Derby I was at was many years ago.

Gerrard scored a hat trick in Anfield :pac:

Would be a great week. All joking aside. I always think we're good for a draw at Goodison and I'd take it again right now if it was offered.

Leeds a breath of fresh air so far, delighted they are back in PL. Also delighted they took points off City of course.

Also fair fcks to Everton, looking mightily impressive thus far.

Ah, not confirmed then fair enough.

I'm sure the details will be leaked if he does sign and we can see a minute and second breakdown for his 78million pound a month contract.

Juve can't afford anyone sure with that Ronaldo contract and AM got sorted. I'd imagine Cavani if he wants to play will have to be reasonable with his wage demands, United are on fire with the penny pinching right now, it's all the rage you know

As good as done if Stone is saying it.

Yep, that came out a few minutes ago didn't it? I'd take that as a pretty solid reporting of it anyway.

Cavani is such a Woodward signing. Don't want him anywhere near United.

I'd imagine Cavani's wages will be right up there with the top earners as well.

€250k a week and €10 million in agent fees if reports are to be believed.

But United wouldn't fork out a few extra quid to get Telles.

The epitome of a panic buy.

Is cavani not a free agenr? Why the rush to sign him - can they not do it after the deadline? Unless they have no other realistic option lined

A free agent no one seemed to want I would have taken him at Liverpool however not at that kind of money.

If he could have been gotten on a basic wage of £100k a week with a really goal and assist bonuses he would be well worth a gamble at his age and with his experience.

Paying him £250k a week to be 3rd choice again doesn't help with future contract dealings with other players.

To register him in time for the CL squad.

He's been a free agent since the end of June, there was definitely no rush!

Cheaper than Sanchez though and he can't be as bad as he was.

He was only a free agent after the CL final in August. He wasn't involved, but himself and Silva signed extensions until then.

Nick Pope having a bit of a nightmare game.
After Pickford’s display earlier, this was a game to put himself in the frame. Not going to plan

    He didn't sign an extension

Edinson Cavani and defender Thomas Meunier 'will not sign short-term contract extensions to play in the Champions League' and will leave Paris Saint-Germain next month

€10m agent fee is nice work when you can get it. Especially if you are a footballers brother.

I'd say there is a nice signing on bonus for Cavani himself too being a free agent. And some top class wages to boot.

The difference in how Liverpool and United are currently run is staggering
Gini at 29 wants a new 4 year deal with improved wages and Liverpool are saying no only willing to give him 3 as he'd be to old,

United willing to give a 33 year-old who won't be first choice 200 grand a week and his agent 10 million

Liverpool gave Thiago at 29 a 4 year deal and are paying him £200k a week. Yet Gini who won the League and Champions League with them and has been a main stay in the first team for 4 years and now they are refusing to give him a pay rise and a 4 year deal instead of a 3 year one does seem strange.

If Dyche keeps Burnley up this season it might just his best season ever with them.

Liverpool are challenging and winning trophies. Klopp is a big factor too.

United are a level or two below and aren't challenging for top honours. They have a manager who looks out of his depth.

Bound to be major factors for players looking for a new club.

Sern a good article on it, reckon its down to what attributes they use, Giní is all about athleticism and hard yards which fades quicker, Thiago more of an Alanso /Pirlo that he can play from his arm chair half the time
