Mario Battle royale, out today. I'm watching some streams on YouTube and it looks like fun! If you have a Japanese account, you can download from that eshop now. It'll be released here later today for free. Nintendo Online Subscription required...

I just installed it from the JP eshop and it's lots of fun.
Sadly, I have to go to something called "work" now so I can't keep playing!

Seems grand, but I can't seeing it having too much longevity. The competitive part of it could easily just be random enemies appearing, nothing too fancy.

Ah I don't know. I played a few games this morning in bed and I'm looking forward to going back to it (damn work, eh?) :)

Had a few games of this last night and did surprisingly well. Came 2nd twice and top 5 a few more times.

It hasn't grabbed me as much as Tetris 99 did originally but can see it getting more chaotic with more and more levels being unlocked.

Nice little distraction to stop me launching the pro controller at the TV with some of the FLUDD-less Mario Sunshine levels!

Ugh, tell me about it. I'm on the 6th shine in the first "world" - It is rage inducing.

Won't have any longevity past March anyway. :)

Will try it at the weekend
