But see if you are village you should be playing in the villages best interests.

Lazily voting for the lowest poster isnt really playing the game.

It seems from Conor's post that Phil was just saying that D1 votes are a crapshoot which is fair enough.

I've no idea what your second sentence is about though. If Phil were being serious then it clearly wouldn't be a good way to decide on who to vote for

look, its fairly easy to see how Phil is choosing his vote targets. He explains it and all. You don't need to take Conor's word for it, just read Phil's post.

You saying that the roles were handed out before any posts were made make no sense to me, so that is the nonsencical thing.

if numbers were 1 2 3 and 4, the targets would be stu, stu, stu and necro.

What difference does it make that the roles were handed out before the posts were made.

How on earth is voting for the least helpful player not playing the game?

    Tbc

    Cool, good come back!

Why did you say Fiona picked me to go first? (She didnt)

Why have you created narratives that I bullied Fiona into going first? (I Didn't)

Why have you been overly defensive first with Fiona, then with me?

Why didn't you input the numbers like you said you would? (You didn't)

Why did I go from not being trusted, to you only worrying that Orla would get in there first?

Okay, so if Phil is serious about choosing his targets in that way, I presume it's because he thinks that the numbers/code is some sort of clue about who the wolves are.

It's not possible for there to be a relationship between the numbers/code and the order in which players posted because the mods handed out the roles and created the numbers/code before anyone posted.

This has to be the most stupid meta conversation on ww. (not ww meta, general meta).

"roles were handed out before any posts were made" makes perfect sense. Phil choosing randomly by applying the 'numbers' to the post list which is random in itself doesnt make sense. If Phil is saying there is method to his madness, there isnt. He is choosing randomly. If he says he is choosing randomly then....well i dont think its a good approach but fair enough; at least its not nonsense.

I don't pretend to understand the character, but it doesn't sound like something that was controlled in the series, but more as a different physical representation of a character which would appear later in the show in human form.

    Henry
    Wendy
    Holly

Why those 3? Well they’re posts line up with the code and I wouldn’t be happy voting for the other three right now.

Let’s get the ball rolling and have a chat :)

Wendy has been watching all day and her posts are in response to someone who posted not long before her. I post an FFA and now there’s silence.
Gonna read over all these posts again now they’re in one place.

okay, now i get were you are coming from.

You are pointing out the plainly obvious and calling it nonsensical, in that phils method is probably no better than rand. Its obvious he is just picking some arbitrary way of choosing people, with no expectation that it would be better or worse than rand.

The series arc would say smokey is a bit more than that though so I’m guessing there are a few mod surprises coming over the next few days

4 8 15 16 23 42 - You should embed this sequence of numbers into your minds, survivors.

The sequence must be entered TWICE per phase, starting on Day 1. Each input of the sequence must be carried out by a single person. There will be a 60 minute lockout between each input of the sequence where any other inputs will not be recognised. Once a player enters the sequence, that same player cannot do so again for the next 4 inputs.

Phases are defined as the following...

    Day Phase: 10am to 8.59pm
    Night Phase: 9pm to 9.59am

Failure to input the numbers twice in each phase as directed above will result in SYSTEM FAILURE. This would have a devastating outcome for all sides.

Ok, am I reading this right?

One person has to type in that number twice between 10-8.59 or 9pm-9.59am or something funky might happen? So if a person does it on Monday they can’t do another code until weds night?

    thread.

***ONLY USE THE NUMBERS THREAD FOR ENTERING NUMBERS, ANY MISPOSTS INTENDED FOR THE GAME THREAD OR LYNCH THREAD WILL RESULT IN THE OFFENDER BEING LOCKED OUT FOR THE PROCEEDING 4 INPUTS***

Does this mean there should be a number thread to enter the numbers?
