Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Changing Stock

    Just wondering what the story is with changing stock ref licence.

    Say you have a licence that was granted for a Tikka T3x (as detailed in licence application) but then you put it in an MDT Chassis - technically it is no longer a T3x?

    I’m guessing the serial number referenced on the licence is the key point?

    Its still a tikka t3x with a different stock. Its just an accessory.

    Your License is for the rifle with the serial number on it, not the stock attached to it. :rolleyes:

    Have you had a fondle of the MDT?? Lots of opinions not so favourable. Lot of money for what they are.. there are other options for the same money..

    For the hundredth time this year..

    Yep. Inclined to agree.

    Question above was a theoretical one.

    Was chatting a lad about it and I got brain freeze.

    Responses above make perfect sense now.

    PSE are really a stock not a Chassis like the MDT apples and oranges there :pac:
