Instead of shooting for goal now they should be aiming for a defenders arm as a penalty is sure to be given.

Des Curran: We didn't see a lot of Calvert-Lewin in the first half

Brian Kerr: No, Des, we didn't see a lot of him, except he scored a goal

There’s the Calvert Lewin we all know.

Again, if u know it’s sad why do u keep doing it?

The attention & reaction it gets is amusing, entertaining & ironic. It's still going ffs.

As mentioned it's been happening in here for years yet the likes of yourself only notice it & have an issue with it when a goal is scored against United :O

Nobody ever batted an eye lid before!?

Why use your time & energy with me? I'm flattered tbh but I don't think I deserve all yer care & attention lads? :pac:

It's only a bit of fun, relax :)

Give it as ya get it & today was a perfect example of that. I gave it for Brighton's 2 goals & got it right back when United scored the 3rd & couldn't help myself but laugh too tbh. All part & parcel of the rivalry. Plenty in here that can give it but can't take it.

That touch from James was stupidly good.

Des isn’t wrong. His sole contribution to the second half thus far is a handball (not given) in his own box.

Right so you do it to wind up Man Utd fans,

Why didn’t you just say that when I asked you the first time?

Against Liverpool post lockdown, Foden was barged over, his arm hit the ball on the way down, we subsequently went on to score, only for it to be chalked off for handball. Laughably ludicrous decision.

      2:34 in.

Was exactly the right decision to an incredibly clear - but completely stupid - rule.

That rule left no doubt in its interpretation - if a goal was scored after any attacker had touched the ball with their hand in any way, the goal would be ruled out.

Thankfully it's been amended a bit this year, as it was genuinely the worst rule i've ever seen in football. It's still not great imo, but better than it was.

On the day though, the ref/VAR were right.

Iwobi know that Everton are wearing yellow? Constantly giving the ball away

Number 44 for palace looks like a guy in 5 a side who never really plays and just runs around after the ball gesturing with his arms.

He’ll probably just kick the ball away if it’s actually passed to him.

Two big away wins for Everton now

Gained 5 points on those fixtures this year compared to last.

      I don't.

      The reason I do it I've already mentioned;

'Give it as ya get it & today was a perfect example of that. I gave it for Brighton's 2 goals & got it right back when United scored the 3rd & couldn't help myself but laugh myself too tbh. All part & parcel of the rivalry. Plenty in here that can give it but can't take it.'

If the likes of yourself & others want to be wound up by it like ye are showing then feel free, but that's not my intention.

      But do remember;

'The attention & reaction it gets is amusing, entertaining & ironic. It's still going ffs.

As mentioned it's been happening in here for years yet the likes of yourself only notice it & have an issue with it when a goal is scored against United :O

Ball to hand or hand to ball. It was a nice simple rule, don't know why they are trying to fix something that's not broken.

      True.
As you've mentioned, it was started and prolonged by a different poster in previous years.

But it gets old really quick and does, at this stage, become a little 'unfunny' I think.

I personally think the thread would be better without it.
At this stage, I dont think posts like that really 'add' to the thread in all honestly.

To be fair Shamo half the things posted in here don't add anything when it's in relation to United or Liverpool :pac:

I was wondering why you would continue to do something you thought was sad.......

      Just quickly though,

If you only do it when Utd concede and as you say ‘the attention and reaction it gets is amusing entertaining and ironic’ you do realise that’s another way of saying I do it to wind up Man Utd fans.

I was just going to ask the same question, how long after the final whistle can the referee change his mind and restart the game?

If he watches the game on MOTD, can he restart the game again with one second remaining?

As long as the ref hasn't left the field of play he can restart the game if he's notified of an issue by the VAR.
