Based on last week it should be, based on how close and how fast, no

    This.

    Loved Kerr quote on it

    Stupid rule.

As I mentioned a few days ago if this continues we'll see players signed only on agreement of their arms being removed. Or having the physique of Jordan Pickford

Twas the right decision by the laws but it’s bullsh*t. Similar thing with Lindleof last week.

    Defenders nightmare this law

At least there’s a bit of consistency.

Just like the ‘attacking handball’ rule from last season this will be changed at the end of the year. Joke decisions being given, correct in the current rules but it’s ridiculous.

Was it Mane last year who was fouled and as he fell the ball hit his hand, liverpool scored and it was pulled back? Can’t remember exactly who it was but it was another joke decision.

there wont be any 0-0 draws this year anyways thats for sure with that rule, you could prob bet on over 1.5 pens given every game and clean up aswel.

Imagine if palace had scored before they went back to check

and with the laws on keepers having to remain on the line there will be few penos missed.

Bruno’s peno agaisnt Brighton today would of been retaken had he missed as Brighton keeper did exactly what DDG did last week.

I thought the rule was if the hand is in an unnatural position? So is the only natural position of the hands down by the sides? I'd like to see these idiot refs run around and turn quickly with their hands stuck down their sides.

Simon Harris is monitoring the situation...

13 penalties so far this season 1 and a half games into game week 3

Honestly don’t know the rule but unless your hands are practically stapled to your side , it’s a potential peno in most circumstances.

When I saw that Palace replay , I thought it was a peno, but it’s a terrible law.

Good half. Would have taken a draw pre game. Big win if we somehow see this out.

Just had a look at the both teams to score market Burnley v Soton which would be considered a low scoring match - 1.73 for yes. Over 1.5 - 1.29

    Peno Awarded - 2.8!

i feel like a replacement for mina and coleman, + another cm so you dont have to play tom davies or siggurdson all too much when injuries occur and everton could do very well this year. Not to say coleman or mina are terrible but just seem to be the weakest part of the team, except maybe pickford.

and keepers basically have no chance of saving them unless they are a super crab

it'll get to the point where both become massively odds on.

Premier League is just turning into Penalty League at this rate.

Rename the thread to General Penalty League.

Completely agree mate. Mina isn't always at the races. Ancellotti said a CB is on the cards. Dont mind Coleman atm but definitely injuries in midfield will be very difficult to manage.

Against Liverpool post lockdown, Foden was barged over, his arm hit the ball on the way down, we subsequently went on to score, only for it to be chalked off for handball. Laughably ludicrous decision.

I think the ref may have been taking pity on Liverpool :)
