    That's not true. Obama and his administration were very cooperative during the transition. The Trump transition team was a bit of a mess though - 2 days into the transition Chris Christie was fired by Trump as chair of the transition team.

    aggregated data from multiple polls on RCP show Clinton polled far higher against Donald trump across the entire election timeline than Joe Biden is. My point stands, they're closer.

    Dear Mr. President -
    Congratulations on a remarkable run. Millions have placed their hopes in you, and all of us, regardless of party, should hope for expanded prosperity and security during your tenure.
    This is a unique office, without a clear blueprint for success, so I don't know that any advice from me will be particularly helpful. Still, let me offer a few reflections from the past 8 years.
    First, we've both been blessed, in different ways, with great good fortune. Not everyone is so lucky. It's up to us to do everything we can (to) build more ladders of success for every child and family that's willing to work hard.
    Second, American leadership in this world really is indispensable. It's up to us, through action and example, to sustain the international order that's expanded steadily since the end of the Cold War, and upon which our own wealth and safety depend.
    Third, we are just temporary occupants of this office. That makes us guardians of those democratic institutions and traditions -- like rule of law, separation of powers, equal protection and civil liberties -- that our forebears fought and bled for. Regardless of the push and pull of daily politics, it's up to us to leave those instruments of our democracy at least as strong as we found them.
    And finally, take time, in the rush of events and responsibilities, for friends and family. They'll get you through the inevitable rough patches.
    Michelle and I wish you and Melania the very best as you embark on this great adventure, and know that we stand ready to help in any ways which we can.

    About $21k adjusted for inflation. That's not very much really. Some pranks and office wear and tear. I've worked in offices where one team has vacated and another taken their place and missing keyboards, missing screens, broken chairs etc are pretty common in such movements. Some pranks also thrown in.

    Also note the controversial nature of that election and I'd imagine a few of the Gore staff were pissed off and took out their frustration. Overall hardly anything to get wound up about.

    Have you dropped your claim about multiple polls showing Clinton in a better position in Florida vs Biden. What you have linked to is national average not Florida specific.

    You have also misrepresented the data on the page you have linked to. It does not show Clinton ahead nationally compared to Biden across the election timeline. She was up at times notably in April, but certainly she is up far less than half of the timeline to date.

    Everybody can see this all they have to do is click on the link. From May 13 on Biden has been ahead vs Clinton except for a few days in early August. (Note the first graphic is Biden vs Clinton, there is an error in the hover, it displays Trump instead of Clinton)

    I'm not saying you are lying, but many people ...

    Again, where are the multiple polls showing Clinton ahead in Florida vs Biden...

    All this media acceptance of Biden's basement strategy masks their terror over the possibility of another Trump win. On July 26, MSNBC host Joshua Johnson interviewed Democratic National Committee boss Tom Perez and revealed Democrats' inner panic.

    "I cannot tell you how many people I know who are Joe Biden supporters who feel like they're on the verge of a stroke all the time at the possibility of four more years of Donald Trump, particularly with any gaffe that Joe Biden makes," Johnson said. "If he says something that comes out sideways, it's like you can feel everybody's heart kind of squeak shut."

    Didnt know CNN have an Irish lad (Donie o'Sullivan) working for them as a reporter on technology, disinformation & politics. Anyway he went to a Trump rally and asked Trump supporters to show him their Facebook feed on their phone which had manipulated videos of Biden supposedly falling asleep during a live tv interview. When shown it was someone else who fell asleep and Biden was photoshopped into the video the Trump supporter could only say 'well its still funny'. He had nothing at all to say about the fake news that he had swallowed hook, line and sinker.

    Its a good watch for an insight into the cult of Trump suppoerters. Even when shown definitive proof of fake news they refuse to believe it is fake because it doesnt follow the cults narrative.

    Fox News released polls last night of swing states. Trump is not doing much of the winning bigly that he promised us, in fact Biden now leads by 50% or more in all three states and they reported the undecideds are now very small numbers of voters.

    Nevada
    Biden 52%
    Trump 41%

    Ohio
    Biden 50%
    Trump 45%

    Pennsylvania
    Biden 51%
    Trump 44%

    This was an earlier picture of Trump watching the poll results on Fox News, he is not happy at losing bigly

    I watched that part of it live this a.m.. Seems the supporter actually admitted 'oh, I guess this one got through' that is, he was fooled, but 'oooh! Washington post' was his next comment.

    When the reporter asked another attendee why he wouldn't take opinions from those that disagree with him, he said "Because those people call me stupid" and a bunch of them chimed in with "ignorant!" He went on to say, waving his arms around, "I've got thousands that agree with me!"

    To me, that was particularly chilling. Glad I'm not living in the US anymore.

    It really is #CULT45.

    judge both based upon the platform they're running on, their record to date, and how you think they will handle the next 4 years.

    Not on something as unspecic as a letter to an ex president, that may or may not be written.
