My wife and I are heading up for a medical appointment tomorrow near Merrion Square and I was wondering how likely is it that I will be able to find parking on the Square at about 9:30 am.

How busy is Dublin at the moment with the restrictions and how busy is the M50 at about 8-9 at the moment. I don't drive into Dublin often so haven't a clue, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Town is relatively quiet these days. The current phase 3 restrictions are probably discouraging even more people from going into the city centre as all indoor dining venues are closed or extremely limited. Most people that normally park in Merrion Square would be white collar workers from nearby offices and they are the cohort most likely working from home so I'd say you'll find available parking no problem.

I parked there a few weeks back midweek during the day and it was no problem getting a space anywhere. In general, that end of town was dead. M50 can still be busy at times

Thanks for that, puts my mind at rest a bit.
