are we going to find out what he is in for?

We all regularly complain about scum getting suspended sentences. They don't put people in Mountjoy for minor misdemeanors.

Prison population has dropped 20% in the last 10minutes. It was 5,000 earlier; it's 4,000 now.

If only there was a way to stay out of prison...

I maybe told this story before. Anyway, A friend of mine and I, got a taxi from the strip in Vegas to the airport and the taxi driver was a vrey nice lady but she told us about her son. He was in prison for 3 years. When he was 16 he stole a car. At 18 he was found with some weed on his person. At 24 he stole a DVD from a shop. Nevada uses the 3 strike rule, 3rd conviction - 3 years mandatory minimum jail sentence. She was angry that he got jailed for stealing a DVD.

I felt sorry for her, but not for him. You have 2 convictions already? Here's a crazy idea, don't commit anymore crimes?
