That was some dribble by Djenepo there. Adams attempted finish after was quite bad tho, no point going around a player just to kick it into him.

Liverpool conceded 3 at home to a newly promoted team in their first game, cant remember the last time we conceded 3 at home to anyone in the league.

Short memory! It was the last home game of the season v Chelsea in July the night they lifted the PL trophy.

Liverpool have conceded 3 at home in back to back games. First time they've done that since 1982

That is a horrible pass by Ings

That is a horrible pass by Ings

And then scores an unbelievable goal.

In comparison he had a painters touch to take down that pass for his goal there.

Absolute beauty from Ings. Gathering it out of the air from over your shoulder is as hard a ball to take in that situation, and he made it look very very easy.

He's such a good player. I would've loved to see how he got on without the injuries at Liverpool.

Jenas completely ignoring the awful defending by his mate Dier(dire) to have a pop at Lloris.

Thought Kane had over hit his pass, great first touch and finish by Son, a little deflection off the defenders leg perhaps helped, but great finish, exactly what they needed as Spurs have looked a little ragged. Dembele was seriously good in the build up.

Dele Alli taken off at half time on the opening league day, then left out of the squad for Europa League in which a strong side was named and he has been left out of the squad again today.

Is he Jose's scapegoat this season?

Must have decided that 'Dele' is really his 'brother' after all. Almost impossible to tell them apart after all...

Son looks to have wrapped up the points with a hat trick from 3 attempts.

Not for the first time I've seen Southampton play well but are behind.
Son really taking advantage of Bednarek and Stephens not being a particularly great pairing, always consider Vestergaard better than either tbh.
Not saying it cause its Irish lads on the bench but Adams hasn't been great today. He ended last season in good form but he's not exactly quality.

Reports of the death of Spurs have been greatly exaggerated :P

Kane showing he’s far more than just a goalscorer. 4 assists to the same scorer must be a record?

Posted this before but it's really merited this time:P

think the record for a year is 13 or something. Shearer and Sutton

Jenas, Carragher, Neville and Alan Smith really shouldn't commentate their former clubs games. Every single one of them are a f**king dose to listen to.

That's as bad a handball decision as the Utd game last night.

It's the right call. ****ing stupid rule, but the right call according to that rule.

Keeper was off the line when he struck it too, more so than De Gea was.

    Comical.

    Irrelevant if it's scored

The new hand ball law is farcical. I can't see it lasting more than a season if that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,428 ✭✭✭✭gimli2112

What I don't understand is how it gets out of committee. Any group of rational people discussing the introduction of this new rule would surely come to the conclusion "this is bull****!"

3rd game this weekend with 7 goals. Safe to say there won't be 7 when Brighton play Newcastle.

Edit: 2 goals in 7 minutes.....

What was the reason that wasn't awarded?

Games gone mad. Neal Maupey with a 4 minute brace.

How many penos is that so far? 5? 6?
