Doable I'd say but requires patience, likely not your model but principle the same...

aaaagh! thanks that is exactly my model how i never found that video. my friend has a nissan micra old style, the tops of the shocks are handy to get to, so i thought how tricky can it be? thanks again !
having gone out in daylight i now realise that i have a 3 door, hes got a 5 door, looks like someone contemplated starting the job, floormat buttons out , and left it. the front ones are done perfect, im wondering is it possible that i could just cut through the plastic thingys to access the tops of the shocks, cant think of the name, their only other function i can see is to rest the seat backs against.
there are more nuts and bolts across the back panel too.

Now i see why it needs patience , on further investigation , think i might need some assistance :)
after having reefed off the back panel, discovered there were two little covers for the shocks access . but very small no idea how i'd manouvre through them to loosen or tighten the tops. we live and learn. thanks again .https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=526107&stc=1&d=1599911393

Normally they are just a push on fit
If you can get anything shaped in an L that will just slip under the bottom of the cover, you'll pop them off ok
Try a Woodies or something and see if you can get a scriber or even automotive picks
