This car has been up for sale by a few different people over the last 6 months if I'm not mistaken, I remember seeing it a few times before I bought my IS in July. At one stage it has been marked as sold then went up again a while later, both 'private ads'. Seems a bit odd for what could otherwise be a nice yoke.

No change of ownership noted in the last 3 months.

07 Toyota Corolla T3 hatch with 104k miles. £1275 ono. MOT till Jan which I believe can be tranferred to valid NCT. With a little discount it should come in around 2k including VRT and NOX. Not many left in good condition nowadays.

    Good buy?

We have a 05 ATM. Good car. The 1.4 vvti is sweet in them. Streets ahead of the Auris of that era which feels like a boat.

    0.02 on nox I think?

Pity we can't access MOT history for NI cars.

Tidy looking Corolla with NCT til March 2021 and a wisp of tax, €625.

If this could be had for closer to 500 it would be a great buy IMO. Getting more and more difficult to find tidy examples these days

Nice tidy one. The 3 doors are very smart, but nearly impossible to find a clean one now. Indeed the lift back and saloons in good nick are getting scarce alright.

I should have hung onto this one I had a few years ago

I suppose the lift backs will never be worth an awful lot but that was a particularly lovely example. 2 owners and about 100k on the clock.

I sold it to a fella from Achill. I wonder how it has fared!

Pass by a 97 silver liftback most days when I'm at work it's in a lot rougher shape though.

They had the 1.3xli engine in them if I remember right The mother bought a newish 99 ex demo from kearyry's in Mallow.
God the interior wasn't up to much in the Terra spec practical for throwing a set of ladders into though.

Just back in the door after a drive which included from Killarney to Mallow, there is some amount of car dealers on the main road between the two towns.

Funny how they seem to congregate like that in certain rural areas, outside Bandon Co. Cork is another spot from memory.

If I remember correctly there was only something like a week or two between the first reg date of your e10 and that e11.

I don't know why everyone thinks that's the best bargain ever, I'd prefer this one with a bit more miles but much more spec and from a dealer for similar money.

No test but if you were able to verify its health via the history to get a guage with the tax on it you've got cheap motoring for a while.

Do you know the difference between "Fully serviced" and "Full main dealer service history from new"?

Why did he change the timing belt and then a month or two later sell it?
