Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lack of toilets for Dublin Bus drivers

    The lack of toilets for DB drivers is a disgrace. Someone in control of upto 100 souls at full capacity needs to be comfortable.

    Even at bus termini there are no toilets, the bus driver has to go at the depot or pop into the pub.

    Can buses not be retrofitted with a small airplane style toilet locked for the bus driver only or at least build them into newly purchased buses on a gradual basis? No other professions would have their human rights abused to the point where they're pissing in bottles.

    I'd like Punisher the bus driver to chime in here to get his opinion in this matter.

    The capex cost of putting airline style toilets on every bus, plus the opex costs for pump out and maintenance work, plus the ongoing loss of passenger space and increased fuel usage would massively outweigh just installing proper toilets at the major outstations or driver swap locations.

    No other professions would have their human rights abused to the point where they're pissing in bottles.

    If pissing in bottles was so widespread DB staff would be striking.

    Putting toilets on buses is a riddiculous idea putting them at termini is a good idea.

    Providing toilets for the public in general would be a good idea in addition to those for bus drivers.
