Somebody must have told them that some overhanging leaves in the corner of a photo look good.

I'm also dubious that the shower photo is from the property, (shower head, not full shower...why?) appears to be a stock photo.

Never mind the shower head the photos through the shrubbery are showing a different property - a bay window and fancy garden ornaments outside? Maybe the two lads should have their faces pixelated like in crime documentaries :o:D

I don't like the look of the house from the outside but it's nice enough inside.

Wouldn't fancy staggering around that house drunk though, lots of steps.

    Is this the only bathroom?!

The bed is elevated above the staircase, with an online listing boasting of a "built in bed over the stairs".

Garden needs a little bit of tidying up!
(I wonder how many Japanese snipers there are hiding in there :D )

Honestly, I'd love to go at that with a secateurs, strimmers, axe and a wood chipper. A couple of days work. Granted, that growth has probably undercut the fences so there'd be Hell to pay with the neighbours.

At least it's got a 'separate' kitchen

And if you need space you can go to the bathroom which is bigger.

Maybe I'm thick but why put the bed there. There seems to be enough space on the floor for the bed.

The bed looks like it is about three or four feet off the ground. And good luck putting a fitted sheet onto the bed. It just looks like a divided house. I wonder would it pass the fire regs.?

The area looks nice but €200k for that - you'd want to be mental.

You can be 100% certain that the purchaser will not be living in it, has rental written all over it.

You'd need to weigh very little and never have a partner to convince yourself you're safe in that death trap.

Imagine having sex on that. Someone's head would be bust off the ceiling before the bed would capsize throwing both tangled bodies to their fate on the bare floor. Shudder.

No price listed but I googled the address and found an estimated value of 450,000 to 500,000 Australian dollars. That's more or less the equivalent of 270,000 to 300,000 euro.

No idea how accurate that estimated value is but I did find it sold for 150,000 dollars in 1997, so doesn't look way off.

1,050 Square metres for 300,000 euro or less.

By comparison, you could get this 39 square metre cottage in Dublin for the same price, more or less. It has the added benefit of being in the exclusive enclave of Rialto.

    https://www.daft.ie/dublin/houses-for-sale/rialto/48-rialto-cottages-rialto-dublin-2656183/

The price on it there is$1.8m AUD so about €1m which seems a tad more fitting given the size etc. Am very surprised it sold for 150k in 1997...was that before the circle house? (Thinking perhaps he bought a derelict house, knocked it and built that?)

If a family buy it they can put the cot underneath.

Holy sh1t, I know we have shoeboxes here but the Parisians have matchboxes in comparison. Have been snowboarding in France several times and the ski resorts are located in massive mountain ranges with unlimited space yet they still expect four people to live cramped up in 25sqm for an entire week with wet clothes trying to get dry everywhere. Its a night mare and you pay through the nose for it too. I dont know what it is with the French being tightarses and building such small spaces in places where there is acres and acres of free land.

Is that 'maisonette' really only 6sqm though? Looks more like 10 or 12 to me. Maybe they only count physical floor space in Paris or something?

Same here. I can't figure it out at all. What's the purpose of having it over the stairs!

Looking at it again. does it fold away when not in use? That leg at the front going under then the bed up against the wall? Space saver?

    Love the wee steps!
