Sky broadband chromecast

Hi last time i had sky my chromecast didnt work, couldnt be found on the network or some b#*#^÷,' Anyway does anyone have sky and have the chromecast working. Thinking of just going with vodafone instead for this reason solely.

I have a Chromecast but not a Sky Hub. It could be a few things, some issue I experienced.

1) Wifi not reaching Chromecast or reaching but interference in that zone of the room
2) Wireless Isolation could be turned ON (Turn it Off to allow devices to communicate on your internal network ) => Sky Hubs Wifi admin settings.
3) Older Chromecast which I have prefers 2.4Ghz b/g wifi will not work with 5Ghz or dual-band 2.4/5Ghz on.

You can access your Sky Hub admin panel if you open your browser and type 192.168. 0.1 into your address bar.
