Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Based in Spain. Looking for an Online CBT Therapist. Advice?

    Hi all. I had a look at the sticky on the forum and some of the links in terms of looking for someone, but initial search suggests there are tonnes of options. Obviously online therapy opens up a huge amount of options, and what suits one person won't suit someone else.
    Is there anything in specific I should be looking for in terms of qualifications for CBT therapists online?
    Maybe someone has some recommendations or additional links they could share?

    Hi, there are 2 professional associations for CBT in Ireland:
    IABCP and CBTI.

    Both accredit only CBT therapists with recognised post-grad qualifications in CBT (eg from TCD, UCC or Queens) and sufficient hours supervised experience.


    Most therapists are working remotely using video-calls, and most professional insurance covers Europe.

    The European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies will have lists of professional associations in many different countries.
