    Phone call on the hard shoulder is stupid.
    I just don't answer the damned thing if on the motorway and can pull off (oo-eerr) at the next junction if it's urgent.

    So her dad passed away from leukemia, very sad.
    What is the point of the call?
    The restrictions were too restrictive?
    They were in place for people like your dad....people with leukemia have a compromised immune system no?
