Is there any real advantage to a 'no lynch' vote on Day 1 as Henry indicates is his intention?

Could someone explain? I don't see it.

There is benefits to a no lynch, as I said previously we’ve zero info, so odds are we’ll lynch a villager.

But no lynch = no fun, it’s a truly dullard move

@Barbara and @Clodagh - very aggressive there over very little. If ye are village the the wise move would be to focus on other people for a while and come back to yer row later

Probably something weird going on re: Henry.

I might not vote for him, in case it's a wolf laying a trap.:D

But would the reward worth it if it leaves him exposed as a wolf?

See, b> to me is a>

you are saying you are making list, and when the first person asks to see the lists, you clam up.

If you don't want people asking to see these piles, then don't mention them, as mentioning them is inviting other to ask about them.

Also, if you don't really have them, then just say that you were making up the thing about piles and we'll leave it at that.

Will ya stop saying piles! Sounds like I have an arse disease!

I have lists, I aint sharing! b) to a) to you is fine, its not that to me! I presume every single player whoever plays a game makes lists! I dance to your tune though and I wont either. I wasnt making anything up, I find I have no reason to lie on the internet to a bunch of random strangers  So I eh cant just leave it at that Im afraid

Had Abigail and then Mary next on my review list next but Mary gets bumped up cause she thinks I am a wolf. Not much to look at really

    Fair enough

Reviewing potential numbers for wolves, leaning 4 with converts possible if I read it right

    Film stuff

Thinks Tess and Bruiser are convertable/swing both ways

Potential no lynch talk but looking at mechanics really

    Fluff

    Accusation - Baseless so far

Meh, nothing really there, Marys second post might be worth re-examining in the event of converts, its very one the nose if that was to come to pass but at the moment, moves into my null pile pending her reply and engagement on thread. Not really involved in much at the moment

Ah you too. Move on to some other people. I have you both on my good list right now.

Clodagh, where’s your suspicions right now?

    Same with you Babs.

Reading back, this stood out to me:
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I’m not sure it means anything other than “let’s get to know each other”. We were told later that there we no tasks yesterday evening.

So Oisin says there are no tasks here but then shortly after following a discussion of Bruiser being good or bad, he says this:
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I think you are right about Tess but I would have Bruiser down as a goodie as I said before. I am reading that he “may help” meaning he might have to complete a task to activate his power or something like that

This strikes me as odd, especially because when he is challenged on the whole being told their are no tasks thing, he said he mistook Rikands post about actions as meaning tasks BUT then how could he think that Bruiser would have one? These posts are pretty close together time wise too.

My biggest suspicion is where my vote is, on Frank Castle.

I think i can afford babs and her chalfont st. giles another looking at, there is work being done, even if I think its mostly fluffer work.

I've still not forgotten about you holly, but you have a comfy pocket, and its warm, so not going to burn that yet either.

We need more chitter chatter here. There’s 4 separate votes now and nobody talking.

    It’s quiet and I don’t like it!

Only one advantage: It gives the wolves more time to plan their attacks.

if i choose not to vote tonight, how does that give the wolves more time to plan their attack?

You voting no lynch could mean the village doesn't get a chance to kill a wolf. It gives them more time without any risk to themselves.

I'm all for chat. What did you think of my post about Oisin?

    #FFA1

Fiona - has a vote on me early but apart from our opening convo has not engaged with me since. Is using Clodaghs reasoning for that vote. Can hide behind clodagh if I do get lynched.

Mary - just a hunch thing really. Nothing to pin point.

Oisin - I am on the fence in my above list but the points Vernon raised about tasks is interesting. Please note - should Oisin be lynched and return village I will not be saying Vernon said it first. (Need to say that as I mentioned similar about Fiona/Clodagh but difference is, that’s about me and I know I’m village).

    Well that answers that :)

To get a convo going. It didn’t work but there are 4 different votes lodged so nobody is panicking.

    It could change later.

    Hi guys,

Fell back asleep and only got up an hour ago :o

Just read the whole thread, posts from Frank, Barbara and Clodagh stood out to me while doing so. I’m just grabbing the laptop so I can look back and see if what I’m thinking makes sense and I’ll post again

I think Henry is just the Day1 lunatic who plays to the beat of his own drum. Very rarely turns out to be a wolf but almost certainly gets lynched in the first couple of days because people can’t make sense of the game play but there’s always one

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

I don't agree with any calls for a no lynch at this point, as other people have pointed out that as this early stage all it does is guarantee we don't lynch a wolf. Votes from early days are also important later on I think.

On a quick read I think Clodagh is aggressively town and Barbara is just rising to her bait. Think barbara is townie too.

Henry is just unhelpful. Possible breadcrumbing a role but I can't work out what. Possibly tasking but from a read back I agree with Oisin's assessment that it's just too forward. He's kept up the weirdness too which makes me think he's not a wolf because it's too obvious... But he's definitely not helpful town either. Hard to know what way to go with him.

Me announcing my return to the thread put me in your wolf pile? Fascinating.
