Search and Rescue Helicopter

I thought it might be an idea to give this its own thread because I'm always hearing the IISRH zooming around.

It's been flying over this morning since 1am, thunder and all. Loads of sirens on the ground too. Hope all is OK but it's flying around the city hours now

Weird thing is that it never comes up on flight radar when I check.

SAR choppers show up on Marine AIS.
I'd imagine as their role is coast guard so ships need to know.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm wondering if anyone can identify the black and white helicopter that's over the western suburbs most afternoons heading north west. What's it up to? Seems to be on a particular mission daily.

All bar one of the CHC helicopters show up on FlightRadar now at low altitudes. The Air Corps ones show up on www.adsbexchange.com - they’re blocked on FR. The Irish Community Rapid Response one based in North Cork doesn’t show on any as it doesn’t have an ADS-B enabled transponder.

Three flyovers today. First one was about 10am heading out towards the Lee Fields, once in the afternoon and it's just gone by there again.

It's been tracing the river from the Mercy up to Mardyke direction for the last c. 30 mins or so.
