Thread title says it all really! Was thinking a Jazz/Fit or Micra.

Any other ideas?

Those are in demand and not many optioms other than japanese imports.

I would add nissan note, hyundai i10/kia picanto, suzuki swift to your search list. They all have torque convertor type automatic gearboxes which are relatively reliable.
