Have just seen RTÉ run a trailer for the 5th in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise; 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' RTÉ One, Sat 22.08.2020 @ 18:35. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this movie released as 'Salazars Revenge' in Ireland.

HIT! 1973. Action. Director: Sidney J Furie. Stars Billy Dee Williams, Richard Pryor, Paul Hampton & Gwen Welles. A federal agent tries to destroy a drug ring after his daughter dies from a heroin overdose (okay this is a second showing as it's on right now!)

Sidney Sheldon's Bloodline 1979. Thriller. Directed by Terence Young. Stars Audrey Hepburn, Ben Gazzara, James Mason. a pharmaceutical heiress becomes the next target of an unknown killer amid the international jet set. This is a good example of that trashy sub-genre of "airport novel crammed with famous faces well past their prime directed by an aging hack"

Dead Man's Kit 1980. Thriller. Directed by Colin Bucksey and starring Larry Lamb, Cherie Lunghi, Philip Locke and Clive Merrison. An investigation into a strange death gets more complicated when another body appears (only throwing this in it's an Armchair Thriller 4 parter, they edited these
into film format for later distribution on VHS/DVD etc)

    Sat 17 Oct 20 20:00
Islands In The Stream 1977. Drama. Director: Franklin J. Schaffner. Stars: George C. Scott, David Hemmings & Gilbert Roland. Ernest Hemingway's most powerful themes are captured in this adaptation of 'Papa,' his novel. (SUBTITLES AVAILABLE). Looks good but lumpy and overacted.

Harry I'm showing that Quatermass and the Pit is on at 11pm on Mon 12 Oct. on TPTV

Well worth a watch, Nigel Kneale's original TV drama brought to the screem.
Allowing that the effects maybe a bit ropey , the story is original and quite disturbing.
