Was initially told my house was exempt until 2016, at which stage the solicitor wo handled the sale told me the house would only become due for LPT in 2020.

Anyone know if this is true or if there is a definitive LPT website where I can find out how to pay?

The extended LPT exemption also applies to houses that were seemed non-habitable on the original key date of 1st May 2013.
My place had no ESB connection , no gas, no bathroom, no kitchen, no Jack's at the time so was deemed a non-habitable residence at that time and although re furnished fully since the exemption still applies

    Thanks, guys

Remember when I queried this with the LPT people back in 2013 and they - rather optimistically - advised me to just pay the tax and they'd refund it later if it wasn't due...

I'm sure you can guess how far they got with that request
