Suspended floor to be tiled, concrete or concrete slabs?

    Have a suspended floor in kitchen, which had a red deal floor laid and them a semi solid on top of that. Taking them up to lay tiles, as small extension being built. Does concrete have to be poured after timber floors taken out or will a concrete slab be sufficient?

    can you clarify Cal please.....

    as a concrete slab is formed after a "concrete pour".....

    can you give more detail as to exactly whats there, and what you propose to do
