Our starting point for a projector would be the BENQ W1050 prioced at 489 Euro

For a 92" screen there is one by Sapphire for around 194 Euro

I wouldn't recommend using a cabin wall for projecting onto unless the side in finished with plaster board. If its the logs then it would be too uneven and dark.


If you wanted to stock with a TV then you could get a 55" Hisense for 479 Euro

Philips have a 50" Ambi Light which could be nice in a cabin as it would like the area around the TV.

At 1250 Euro there would be a very noticeable difference.

You could go for something like the Optoma UHD30 are you are then into 4K resolution. Price at 1179 Euro

Sorry it was a Philips 75" (I've corrected it above).

It is really hard to compare a TV to a projector. A projector will also show up more imperfections due to the size of the image but they are still excellent!

It really comes down how large you want to go.

For a TV a 75" would be the largest affordable TV where with a projector you can much larger but do suffer a little on image quality.

LG and Samsung both make great televisions. It really only comes into contention is their more expensive televisions like the LG OLED and the Samsung QLED.

You could still go with any of the TV I have listed above depending on which budget you work to.

The 75" Philips mentioned would be an excellent large TV and great value for money.
