The waste pipe from my washing machine is just short of 5 meters. I'm rep[lacing it and it is quite clogged.

Is there something that I can use, either in the wash but preferably directly into the waste pipe every couple of months, that would keep the pipe clear?

Most don't get clogged, so why does yours...is a question you need to ask.

I have two machines on separate stand pipes discharging into a similar (but external) horizontal run but I have it inclined so as that there will be no water left in the waste pipe to freeze, no problems with blockage (after 10 years or so), one might expect that the two/three rinse cycles would flush any residue away. Maybe very excess usage of wash powder would eventually cause a build up.

There should also be a reasonable flush through the stand pipe at least as the machine will pump out at a rate of ~ 15 LPM.
